Mechanical removal of covering material from hard coverings using abrasive substances.
This improves surfaces. Surfaces may change!

Choose the right abrasive material for the floor covering (abrasive paper, mesh, pads, diamond abrasive wheel, etc.).

Preparatory work (Dry and wet sanding)

Equip and prepare the machine.
Follow the operating instructions.

Remove any loose dirt.

Dry/brush vacuum cleaning

Put up the warning sign.

Main work involved A) Dry sanding (Dry and wet sanding)

Sand the floor covering one strip at at time, working in circles.

Sand corners and edges manually or using a machine.
Use the edge cleaning tool/BrushBoy.

B) Nassschleifen (Trocken- und Nassschleifen)

Sand the floor covering one strip at at time, working in circles and adding water as you go. Work your way towards the outlet (jack).

Use the edge cleaning tool/BrushBoy.

Use a wet vacuum cleaner or scrubberdrier to suck up the dirty water.

Final steps (Dry and wet sanding)

For wet sanding only: Leave the floor to dry out completely.

Check and clean cable.

Empty the tank, wipe the machine down with a damp cloth, and clean the cleaning materials if necessary.
Wash the pad/brush or replace if necessary.
