Cleaning

An optimal combination of cleaning and disinfection is essential for germ-free surfaces. Dust, for example, is one of the main carriers of harmful microorganisms. In addition, dust and dirt protects microorganisms from disinfectants, preventing them from working effectively. If dust is regularly and thoroughly removed by cleaning, the majority of germs are already eliminated before disinfection even comes into play. That’s why we recommend the following three hygienic cleaning methods:

Wetrok Acrylstar
Specialist cleaner for acrylic glass panes (coronavirus safety barriers)

Do you use safety barriers to protect against coronavirus? Then one product is indispensable: Wetrok Acrylstar. That's because cleaning acrylic glass panes (plexiglass safety barriers) is a delicate matter that CANNOT be managed with conventional glass cleaners (risk of stress cracks and clouded panes). That's why Wetrok has specifically developed a new special spray for acrylic glass: Acrylstar. Acrylstar is a powerful surface cleaner and THE professional choice for removing finger marks and grease stains from acrylic glass.

Dust-binding mopping with disposable cloths

Users need just two things for dust-binding mopping: a dusting unit and a Masslinn disposable dust cloth. There is one simple rule for maximum hygiene: one cloth per room. Dust cloths do not stir up dust into the air, but sweep up germs directly into the cloth. The Research and Testing Institute for Facility Management (German abbreviation: FIGR) has tested Masslinn cloths and come to the following conclusion:

When customers use Masslinn cloths for dust-binding mopping before wet cleaning or disinfection, they achieve maximum germ reduction and optimum cleaning results (over 90% dirt removal).

Wet mopping with pre-wetted mops (WetBox system)

One mop per room – it sounds simple, but is not always easy to put into practice. Wetrok has therefore developed a special method for this purpose: wet mopping with pre-wetted mops. The required number of mops is first placed in a box and doused with cleaning solution. After a short contact time, you are ready to start cleaning with a fresh mop available for every room. Unlike cleaning them in the washing machine, this ensures the mops are not left standing around before use and therefore cannot become contaminated. Disposable mops can also be considered as an alternative to pre-wetted mops for establishments with the highest hygiene requirements. Wetrok recommends wiping down the room with a duster beforehand to ensure maximum hygiene.

Surface cleaning with ready-to-use disposable cloths

If time is of the essence or cleaning work is being performed by untrained personnel, Wetrok recommends surface cleaning with pre-soaked disposable cloths. The basic principle of “one cloth per room” can be quickly and conveniently applied without any preparation time or dosing knowledge. Especially during a pandemic, it’s essential to clean contact surfaces regularly. This can be done quickly and hygienically with Quick & Clean.

Wetrok tip

clean highly frequented touch points regularly! In many establishments, the regular cleaning of surfaces that are frequently touched during the course of the day is often forgotten.
